UK and International services key dates for the festive season
Christmas is always a busy time of year and you’ll need to plan ahead to make sure all your deliveries arrive as promised. So to help you, we’ve listed the important dates for all our UK and International services throughout the festive period below:
UK Services

Friday 23rd December 2005 Normal delivery and collection service. Parcels collected on this day for a next day service will be delivered on Wednesday 28th December 2005. Parcels labelled for a Saturday delivery will be delivered on Saturday 24th December 2005.
Monday 26th December 2005 to Monday 2nd January 2006 (inclusive)* CLOSED – No service
Tuesday 3rd January 2006 Normal delivery and collection service resumes, except for Scotland which resumes on Wednesday 4th Jaunary 2006

Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland Services

From Friday 16th December 2005 to Tuesday 3rd January 2006 our standard Offshore and Irish deliveries will incur an additional day’s transit.
Please note: Customers using ship@ease complete or EDI will be able to continue collections and deliveries throughout this period if pre-arranged with your account holding depot by Monday 12th December 2005
*Please note: On Wednesday 28th December 2005 there will be a delivery only service.

These dates may be subject to change. Please check with International Customer Services for further updates. Delivery times are not guaranteed. Deliveries to non-EU destinations are subject to customs clearance. Alcohol and foodstuffs are prohibited in DPD and Chronopost International networks. The description on the consignment note and invoice must read “gift-unsolicited” followed by a full and detailed description. “Christmas Gifts” must NOT be given as the description. Normal service resumes on 4th January 2006.
